Update Specialties

Double Optics

The Bundeswehr is using double optics as standard on most of it’s weapons, including the G36 family and the G28E2 DMR rifle. You can now use these also with our faction!

Q: How can i switch between Red Dot and Scope?
A: Use X + Mousewheel

Vehicle Ability Upgrade

We invested a lot of time in bringing vehicle gameplay to the best standard possible with our abilities. Our wheeled vehicles received realistic settings for engines, gears, clutches, weight, armor values and weapons abilities. Tracked vehicles will be updated too, as soon as possible. We believe all changes we did, are working with vanilla factions as opponents. A special update is the Auto Zeroing feature of the Boxer IFV. Mind: We nerfed this feature by introducing a 2 second calculation timer. The Video below from a fan is demonstrating this feature on a range (a previous version without the calc delay).

Q: How can i use Auto Zeroing with the Boxer?
A: Laze target within the 2.000 m threshold, press x, wait for Range Lock Calc, fire and hit with the first shot. Hold X to reset Range Lock. It works with AP and HE auto cannon.

BETA FAQ

Q: How can i switch between Red Dot and Scope?

Q: Where can i see a list of Public Servers for the open Beta test?
A: We will set up a subpage in our website under bwmod.com/beta with all necessary informations. Known issues will be named here too.

Q: Which maps can be played?
A: Server Owners can set any of the “Green Biome” and winter maps, due to our current limitation to woodland camouflage. It is at their discretion, which one comes into their rotation and voting.

Q: How should i behave on the Range?
A: Please do NOT shoot other Playtesters on Jensens range without prior agreement. Try to limit these activities to the MOUT and kill house areas. Please do not destroy vehicles at their spawning spots and drive them out if you intend to. Follow the instructions of Mods, Devs and Admins.

Q: Where should i post Faction and balance feedback?
A: Please post this to ⁠faction-feedback

Q: Where should i report suspected Bugs?
A: Please report bugs to ⁠bug-report and read wether it was called out beforehand or not. Devs will directly comment on reasons and progress, if possible.

Q: Why are there doors in some openings?
A: They are ment for you to explode with C4 or other weapons with HE Damage! TechDemo 😉

Q: Squad says file mismatch – what can i do?
A: Go to the Steam workshop of Squad, search for the Mod and manually de- and subscribe once more, so it may download the mod. This may happen if we update the built.
